oh, serendipity
it occurs to me that if one is invoking the spirit of serendipity because they are hoping it will cause one specific explicit particular exact precise thing to happen that day, they might, in fact, be missing the whole point of serendipity.
and by one, of course, i mean me.

love these pictures elizabeth! they’re very magical… kind of elusive…
kind of like serendipity. lol.
hope you and atlas are cosy on your rainy day.

chuckle. xo!
That made me laugh. Cool photos!
you have definitely got that radiance thing goin on!!
Oh how much I love this. Stunning in the most comforting way. Thank you.
mmm… so true, Elizabeth. The power and delight of surprise is lost to us if we go forcing the issue, so to speak. I think as humans we somehow can’t help but hope for things, try for things, wish will all our might for things to happen. But we lose some sweetness with all that trying, huh? Good thoughts today. And LOVE the MAGIC in your images. :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
elizabeth!
just received my post cards and i love them. as a matter of fact two of them are my favorites. last summer i saved one of those in my favorites bar so it was easy to bring it up and look at it anytime i needed to, to keep me cool! we had temperatures of over 100 degrees for almost 3 months… yes the entire summer! and that picture helped to keep me cool. the one looking at the flowers in the park through the sparkles of dancing waters from a fountain. i love it! i will use it again this summer no doubt. but now it will be in a little frame on my desk by the computer. lol
thank you!
@tammy: i remember! that’s why i included them! yay, happy you are enjoying them.
@tracy: yes, there was definitely some sweetness lost in that one. (i was going to share the story but i decided that it was too silly and i would be embarrassed – possibly it might have involved good hair and a cute boy, but i can’t say for sure. 😉
@yael: you are so welcome.
@patty: woo-hoo! i actually took them in december, but clearly i was thinking ahead.
@claire, @jen: chuckling with you.
