a note from atlas for dogs everywhere
hello, friends.
if i could give you one piece of advice from my very long life, it would be this:
learn to open doors.
you will be glad you did.
besides the possibility of opening that marvelous food-filled box in the kitchen, there are many times when i want to leave a room or a building and elizabeth is strangely uncooperative, no matter how strongly i attempt to communicate my desire to her.
if i could open doors myself, this would not be a problem. i would just open the door and walk out.
oh, the freedom.

maybe you really do know how to open doors!
loving nose smooshes puppy,

This is good advice! sophie would do well to heed it, for any bathroom emergencies…
Nikki knows that the doorknob is the thing to grab to open a door. She will jump up and try to grab it with her mouth, but she has not learned to grip and turn it…yet.
We have some bells hanging from the kitchen doorknob and she rings those with her nose when she wants tomgomout.
Jerry: Atlas says, “Go, Nikki! I am cheering you on!”
Ann: That’s the trouble with some things .. they can actually be good for us in certain scenarios. If only we could pick and choose.
Tammy: Who knows, maybe he does! In which case, he is a sweet puppy to not use his talents at the vet.
Tracy: Clearly Charlie and Atlas are kindred spirits.
Atlas, I’m hearin’ ya man!
I wish I had my mum’s opposable thumbs!
Darn dew claws!!
