@patty: they are feathers! i collect them too. sometimes. i have a bluebird feather by my door and a few other feathers in a cup on my frig.
am still in the archives.
the october 2008 scenes are the most beautiful fall pictures! they sum up my favorite season.
and the shots of atlas thru the archives are priceless.
