a very disgruntled atlas says
"there are people who do this sort of thing, you know. they're called models. maybe you need to hire one.
i can hear you thinking that you don't want a picture of a model; you want a picture of me. you don't need a picture of me. you can just look at me. you can look at me 24/7 if you want, and yet you actually choose to leave me behind sometimes. someone who leaves the house without me definitely doesn't need a picture of me.
i can also hear you thinking that this only ever takes a minute. a minute is 60 whole seconds of my life that i'll never get back. there are things to be sniffed, lady. the outdoors is not meant to sit still in."
(a very disgruntled elizabeth says: "i left out the photo where i asked him to stay and instead he moved and peed on the pretty ivy.")
p.s. in case you missed monday's post, there's a celebration going on through saturday!

This is soooo FUNNY! And the images of Atlas speak volumes that pair so well with his thoughts. I better not show this to our kitty Charlie, as I know he’ll want to join Atlas on the “soapbox” haha… But Atlas is a supermodel! ;o) Hope you’re having a great visit with your family, Elizabeth ((HUGS))
Love the photos of Atlas, Elizabeth. I can easily imagine the conversation going on inside his head with these pics. I had a black lab named Ash who never considered the fact he was a dog. He was my shadow and four-legged soulmate and I miss him terribly. Probably not good to mention this to Atlas but I think he’s one handsome dog. If you think he can handle the compliment please pass it along to him. Thanks for the beautiful photos.
talk about a show puppy!
he just can’t help himself. he’s gorgeous and he knows it.
will he be going to doggy ranch? such a neat place. and the only way you’ll enjoy your trip to see the new little person in your life!
love and hugs.
He does have that “model frown” down pat.
love these!
