signs of spring in the keweenaw peninsula
it seems that lake superior is slowly shrugging off her thick winter coat.
someday, in the not too distant future, i will be swimming in this lake. in the meantime, i am enjoying all the colors & textures & layers.

reminded me of our winters in northern minnesota. they went on FOREVER.

Tammy: I have to go and look at that photo now! I did not even notice that. Silly pup. It’s hard to mind the snow when I had the BEST day of skiing ever a week ago. I wouldn’t even mind another few inches if it meant I got to do that again. (That being said, I would be happy to see flowers.)
LOVE the first photo! Wish I could’ve been there to take some pics with you too. Also, some kids at school “took baths” this Easter break at the beach (this is the expression the teacher used..must be British English), so they are ahead of us!
