the color fern
history teaches us that ferns are far older than even the dinosaurs. i can believe this; there is something about them that seems ancient and timeless.

Ahhhh! Pictures of a primeval forest. I can just imagine the head of a dinosaur popping through the fronds. Oh wait! Maybe it’s Atlas.
These are LOVELY images, Elizabeth–such a dreamy, magical quality they have. Oh, I can believe the early date of ferns. There is definitely something about plants having been around before anything else! In a few days we travel to the US to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family–so happy! And as the holidays approach I’m making a departure from blogland. No worries though, I’ll still be around… ;o) ((LOVE & HUGS))
jerry cracks me up.
and i guess i knew that about the fern…
but hadn’t thought about it.
a little knowledge with my dose of beauty here.
thank you elizabeth!
the only thing even better would have been atlas’s head popping up in the ferns! LOL.
Jerry: Ha! That would be a fun photo. (I kind of have one, with different ferns, but I am not entirely sure how to attach a photo in the comments.)
Tracy: I can feel your happiness! Wishing you safe travels + a joy-filled visit! I bet it will be white!
Tammy: You can lead a dog to the ferns, but you can’t make him stay. 😉
