in the wild wood
this is golden hour on one of both atlas and my favorite places in the world: the wildwood trail in forest park.
atlas is so funny. whenever i stop to take pictures, and i’m there for a while, he comes back to check out what i’m doing. usually, he is unimpressed and continues on again.

It looks so pretty – kind of mysterious.
What a lovely looking trail. Waiting for some of the sidhe to pook their heads out in some of your pictures.
Me too!
so beautiful.
does he stay on the trail or wander into the woods?
once a lady remarked in the lobby of a state lodge … very angrily …
“why don’t you people have a sign up about the ticks in the woods!???”
hello.
woods.
ticks.
bugs.
woods.
“go home lady.”
well we didn’t say that of course.
we just wanted to.
He mostly stays on the trail. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t ever let him off-leash. It would seem a little insensitive to the forest folk
Sweet Atlas… he is probably saying in his best dog-speak… “Will you come on already… Do we need more photos?!” ;o) Lovely that you can let him off-leash and wander a bit. Such a BEAUTIFUL wood… magical, merry, fairy… Such nice treatment of the photos too. Thanks for taking us along on the walk, Elizabeth. Happy Day, Cuddles to Atlas ((HUGS))
