random goodness
i thought i would highlight some things that are inspiring me lately, just in case one or more of them speak to you too.
shannon offers a free class + group coaching call every month. she (and it) is always full of smartness, usefulness & laughter.
i found sharon on redbubble this past weekend. she takes the most magically beautiful photos of water & oil drops. i am so in love with them that i feel like i am going to burst with it. today, rainbow rain is my favorite.
somehow, i stumbled across this sweet & loving essay on body image. “it is the stories and the cherishing that make us beautiful. may you catch each falling moment in your hands and kiss it as it goes.”
you need to meet maddie the coonhound. i have apologized to atlas in advance, but i am determined to take my own maddie-inspired photo.
what’s inspiring you lately? anything i should know about?

oh my gosh elizabeth!
what a potpourri of delight this post is today.
all of it! sharon’s work is amazing.
and i was in tears at the end of the essay on body language. how beautiful is she?
and maddie…
i laughed right out loud at many of them.
though i have to say… some look too dangerous to be believed. her slender legs and perched on the tiny frame of a basketball hoop not far from the rooftop. so far to fall. and stretched out on a tiny rail high above the ground across concrete steps…
i don’t like.
she is adorable. and photogenic. but notice ~ her eyes are always closed in almost every one of them. she does not look happy. and treating your dog that way just because you can… well. not so good in my book. i don’t care how great an “artist” you are.
sorry to be a downer. just mho.
and on a happier note!
so looking forward to the reiki session today! and that you’re offering it free to us it so generous. and so appreciated! you are dear. thank you thank you thank you!
darn. i never even mentioned your own picture above. maybe because i love tulips so? but gorgeous! LOL. i always say…
“OH! THIS ONE is the one.”
then next time… “this one is the one!” LOL.
then your abstracts… this is the one!
I’ll have to look at them again. I can tell when Atlas is miserable and can’t take those ones myself anymore. But maybe he’ll let me capture his ears on top of his head. We’ll see.
Good luck with Atlas cooperating. He has too much dignity to pose for such pictures…although he could do it if he (not you) chose to. LOL
That is for sure. The one I want to take is the one with ears on top of the head. Whenever his ears wind up there on their own, he looks so cute & funny. We’ll see. He is really into ear scratches right now so it might be doable.
Love the tulip photo! I was just out taking photographs of tulips, yes, lots of tulips. So inspiring! Just finishing up a brightly colored tulip painting.
The links are just as you say… random goodness. Really digging the rainbow rain photo too. Love.
They are indeed inspiring! I could take pictures of them all day every day.
I hope you post a photo of your tulip painting when it’s done!
Coming soon!
