these would say,

"why are you just standing there? why don't you move?"

"you're still standing there. why are you doing this? move already! sheesh. keeping an eye on you is a full-time job."

i also like to flip back and forth between these photos in my photo library.

ears. no ears. ears. no ears. ears. no ears.

this could go on for hours.

Oh, this is so funny, and just so sweet! I do the same with our Charlie… A side hobby is playing thought bubbles… I love imaging what he’s say if he could speak. It’s pretty funny stuff! Like Atlas, he tells it like it is. ;o) hhhmmm…no ears–lends more “drama” to Atlas’s thoughts… tee-hee… Happy Day you two! ((HUGS))

hahahaha. sitting here looking up at atlas’s feet in the air, with just a little green grass between his toes… the front of your calendar! and now to see his look of “why are you still standing there?” indeed!
i needed this laugh today. to see atlas so healthy and in his favorite element… walking with elizabeth! even if elizabeth just won’t get going!
(wilf has rallied from his crisis. he is soldiering on and is adorable as ever, eating his french croissant and accepting love from all over the world. love is the best medicine.)

  3. It is like one of those puzzles…what is different between these two pictures?

:) thanks atlas (and elizabeth) for the smile today! i had fun scrolling up and down real fast.

Oh what a sweetie! I love dogs so much. And Atlas especially, as of today. What expressive ears!

  6. I do this, too. I took a picture of Sloane’s concert choir and it’s singing, not singing, singing, not singing.

  7. I love putting thoughts in their heads. We know them so well that we are probably pretty accurate!!

  8. elizabeth @ retinal perspectives

    @patty: i know we are!
@relyn: haha. i can just see it!
@rhiannon: dogs are the best. and he does have expressive ears. i like to watch them.
@helen: you are most welcome. i hope the day held more smiles though.
@jerry: it is! must remember that idea.
@tracy: possibly because there really is more drama when the ears disappear. 😉
@tammy: yay! happy to hear wilf has rallied! such a sweet pup he is.

  9. Too funny! When B’Elanna has the “no ear” look, it’s because she’s thinking, “heeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy…I dunno what you’re doing there…and I dunno if I’m gonna like it!”
